Trinity Christian School in Wanniassa, ACT, supports over 1,100 students from preschool to Year 12 on a single campus. As its digital footprint expanded, the school required reliable infrastructure to manage a mixed fleet of shared and 1:1 devices while reducing IT administration and improving classroom safety.
Through its partnership with ASI Solutions, Trinity implemented Power Technologies charging solutions to free up space, improve safety, and streamline device management.
Challenge
- Growing device complexity: Managing shared iPads and 2-in-1s in Junior School alongside a 1:1 program in Middle School increased logistical demands.
- Safety concerns: Older trolleys and power boards created clutter and potential risks in classrooms.
- Compliance workload: Individual chargers and power boards required annual test and tag, significantly increasing administrative time.
- Space constraints: The school needed secure, in-class charging that didn’t consume valuable learning space.
“The AC-GO-16’s have allowed me to make what was an annual test and tag item into a three-year cycle-so it’s reduced that workload by 60%.” – Adrian Burgess, IT Manager, Trinity Christian School
Solution
Trinity partnered with ASI Solutions to deploy purpose-built charging infrastructure aligned to different learning stages.
In the Junior School, wall-mounted AC-GO-16™ cabinets were installed to securely store and charge shared devices. Positioned near key learning spaces like the library, teachers can quickly distribute devices using baskets of four while keeping cables contained and out of reach.

For Years 6–8, the school introduced charging trolleys to support its 1:1 school-owned device program. With integrated power supply and centralized charging, students no longer carry chargers, and devices remain locked and organized when not in use.
This shift significantly reduced loose cables and individual power bricks in circulation, allowing the school to move from annual to three-year test and tag cycles.
Results
Since implementation, Trinity has improved organization, safety, and operational efficiency across campus.
Key Results & AC-GO-16 Benefits:
- Reduced IT workload: Test and tag cycles extended from annual to three years, cutting related workload by 60%.
- Improved classroom safety: Wall cabinets replaced bulky trolleys and eliminated exposed power boards.
- Streamlined 1:1 management: Centralized charging keeps devices secure, organized, and ready for learning.
- Reliable performance: Devices charge consistently, with no reported issues across trolleys or wall units.
- Future-ready infrastructure: Flexible systems support continued digital growth across all year levels.
“We haven’t had a single issue with the trolleys or wall units. Devices are charging properly, and the teachers are happy they just work.” – Adrian Burgess, IT Manager, Trinity Christian School
With safer spaces, reduced compliance demands, and dependable charging infrastructure, Trinity Christian School has built a scalable foundation for digital learning that supports both students and staff.
